I'm not talking about skin that's so dry that it looks like you rubbed it on a chalkboard, I'm talking about a patch or two of dried skin on your hands, arms, or legs.
Do you think they are lazy? Have poor hygiene in general? Unattractive?
I had a very small patch of dry, flaky skin on my face for a couple of weeks, once. Well-meaning strangers where constantly coming up to me, telling me to wipe it off. One well-dressed older woman walked up to me out of nowhere, and barked, "EXFOLIATE!", and walked away.
People are weird. It's just a little dry skin, it's not some deformity, or something. Honestly, I don't understand. What's the big deal?
Ummm...I'm the person with the dry skin. I was recently told that I need to take care of the "issue" or people will judge me. In so many words.
yeah, right
I would judge that person for making such a douchenozzle comment.
