I really want my diamond jewelry to sparkle. I have a pair of diamond studs that I always clean before wearing. I just use diluted dishwashing liquid and hot water.
Will this damage them?
How often do you clean your diamonds? What do you use to clean them?
My rhinestone jewelry I just clean with a dampened q-tip or an eyeglass cleaning wipe so I don't damage the foil backing.
I clean my diamond about 3 times a week...I like them shiny, but I'm not fanatic about it! I use a jewelry cleaner for gold and diamonds. Windex works well, too!

Any jewelry cleaning tips?
I used to work at Zales and we used Mr. Clean in the stores ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. It worked great! You don't need a machine for great results--just use a toothbrush. Walmart sells connoisseurs jewelry cleaner for less than $5 which also works good.
I actually just keep all mine in a zip-lock bag to try and keep dust and dirt away. I take it out, wear it for whatever, then put it back in when done.
