I remember the one side meant gay, other side meant str8 thing years ago. I think on certain men, it looks fine. I do think it should only be for younger guys. Older ones, IMHO, look silly.

I think--

Harrison Ford 72y/o
Johnny Depp 51y/o
Morgan Freeman 77y/o
Daniel Day-Lewis 58y/o

Would disagree.......

The gentleman listed above look very chic and classy with their earrings.

I joined just to comment on this! I voted want to. I was fascinated with the notion of "decorating ones ears" from an early age. Back then, most women, including my mom, wore clip back or screw back earrings. About the time I was graduating from college, pierced ears had come into fashion. A former girlfriend actually asked if she could pierce my ears. I immediately wanted her to, but that wouldn't have gone well at my job at the time. But, her request planted a seed. I have wanted to wear earrings for many years since, but my wife (who I love dearly) doesn't care for that style, so I have deferred.

Regards, Logjam

No.

They'd seem like a burden. Though I think they'd look good on me.

Hi Theropod,

If I may ask - why do you think they would be a burden? My impression is that after the initial healing period, they are pretty much maintenance free. (From what little I know, stretching is another matter.)

My friend's son came home from a semester of college (in the 80s) in Europe with an earring. She was so upset. She said, "Tom, does this mean you're gay now?" It was pretty funny.
Anyway, I am in my 60s and I think some young men can pull them off, but on older men they look really stupid.
