The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute has a new exhibit was highlighting different ornamental crafts - lacework, artificial flowers, etc.

I didn't get to see this whole exhibit while I was there (rushed trip) but there was some interesting stuff!

Looks interesting. The "strips" skirt looks like it could be wearable for regular fashion.
