Help!!! My skin is SOOOOOOOOO dry - I have tried so many hand creams, and nothing seems to work. I work with paper, files, and I'm in the warehouse several times a day. I have to wash my hands more than I'd like, so I know that dries them out.
Probably not the greatest suggestion during summer, but when my hands get super dry in the winter I usually slather them with coconut oil and then put on white cotton gloves before going to sleep.
O'Keeffe's Working Hands here too. Wonderful stuff plus it's unscented which is a huge benefit for us allergic types. There are so many potions that I can't use due to the scents. I also do the gloves-at-bedtime thing when my hands are at their worst. O'Keeffe's (yes, that's the right spelling) works really fast . . . I can have a split finger at bedtime and by morning, after a slathering overnight, it's essentially healed up. It's the only product that works for me. I have hand eczema and none of the super-duper prescription remedies worked.
You might try taking fish oil capsules. That seems to help my skin. I also like coconut oil and olive oil in place of hand lotion. They aren't practical for work.
