This decade began in 2010, and we've been into it for quite awhile now. What are the fashion things about this decade that you really like so far and the ones you won't miss when they are gone? Are there any from previous decades that you miss and wouldn't mind seeing around again?

Like: pastel hair dyes; watercolour tattoos; better designed footwear; minimalist jewelry; man buns.
Dislike: Converse sneakers (they're just everywhere); buffalo plaid shirts; t-shirts with arrow designs on them (don't get that fad).

I like the idea of upcycled clothing, and I've dabbled in this trend myself. I also like the prints that look as if they have been cut and pasted together and I often like the mixes of prints I see online. I don't see this too much in real life though.

I love paisley, which has been big, although it might be fading now.

I also love the neckline filling necklaces that I see, but don't own any of these. I don't really need them as I don't work now.

I love that the denim jackets are back. I would buy any that I could find that fit. I own two from a decade ago and one from last year. And I also love chambray shirts. Or denim shirts. I have a denim shirt that I bought over 10 years ago, and I still wear it.

I like the dresses I see that remind me of the dresses that I wore in the late 'sixties and early 'seventies. I loved the styles in that time period.

I like boots. I need a good pair, myself.

I don't like the stiletto heels that I see online, and that have been around for over a decade now. They look uncomfortable, and I don't believe wearing them leaves the feet unscathed.

Nor do I like form fitting dresses with short full skirts. They look as if they are 'fifties style dresses that are too small, at least to me.

I also don't care for heavy framed glasses on smaller faces. I especially don't care for those combined with dangly earrings.

I have never cared for palazzo pants.

I don't like rhinestones or glitter on my clothes.

I don't mind if someone wears the stuff I don't like. I assume she doesn't like stuff I wear, if she has an opinion. I am grateful for a diverse world.

I love the fact that makeup attention is back on the lipstick, which is so much easier for normal people to apply. verses the Eye emphasis that was so big last decade. Its not easy to get eye make right

I was watching Friends last night (some episodes from around 2002), and was admiring some of Monica's clothing. I'm kind of wishing for fashion from that era to come back around.
