I recently purchased this fragrance off ebay, not sure is it just me or I feel the scent may be counterfeit, I took detailed pics of the fragrance, I feel that the cap looks low quality and the spray nosel has a light greyish color instead of white.

I would never buy a fragrance from ebay. Chances are it's counterfeit. I once purchased a bottle of EDP on ebay --- it had NO scent whatsoever. Either it was very old and the scent evaporated or it was just colored water.
I don't know how to tell by looking at a bottle whether it's counterfeit or not unless there is a glaring misprint or something.
I would just play it safe and purchase your fragrances at the store itself or at Macys, Bloomies, Sephora, etc
Go to a store that sells Chanel No.5, like Macy's or Bloomingdale's, and explain your problem to the sales manager of the perfume department. Tell her/him that you would like to contact the regional account executive for Chanel brand to see if they can verify the authenticity of your perfume. The account executive will ask you for the information on the box and/or bottle in order to look it up in their database for authenticity.
This is a real Chanel N 5. The EDP is 10% concentration. It smells of vanilla with aldehydes, right? There is a major difference between MADE IN FRANCE and MADE IN USA. Better have both.

Not sure. I am so obsessed with j'adore. Coz of that damn Charlize commercial when I saw it on Macy's I said might as well try it - I fell in love at first sniff. Holy smokes. So when I was active online dating. I mostly suggest mall food court and I always park by Macy's so I can whiff myself some j'adore before I meet the guy, LOL!!!
Fast forward to me now married, still obsessed with j'adore so my husband and I went to the mall to check the price for j'adore over $150! So of course my cheap husband won't buy it. We went to shopper's world it's on a strip mall. But basically a flea market on a bldg. One of them are selling fake perfumes lo and behold they have j'adore. Looks and smells EXACTLY like the real thing. The guy swears it's real so we just said yeah ok here's your $50. LOL. They sell it for a third of the price. I know it's fake though. But swears it looks and smells EXACTLY like the real thing.
In fairness to my husband for his Christmas gift to me we went to the mall and he ask me what I want. And I said the j'adore body cream. He bought it for me coz it's less than $100. I think like $96 plus tax. LOL.
