I see lots of women over 35 wearing tops that are really low cut, sometimes so low cut you can see their breasts. While it may be okay for younger women much like midriffs how do you feel about women over 35 and lower, really lower cut tops?
I am so sick of these threads about “older women” and their clothing choices. As if you’re supposed to pick up your burka on your 35th birthday, or something.
However, the tops you described sound tacky to me at any age.
Debi's - I did get a burka around that age when we anticipated moving to the great sand box.
YuMart - At 40 women in pre-revolution China picked their replacements.
You have what it takes - be my guest. Those who mind - take your glasses of, do not watch TV, news, go to a wedding or to the beach - those over 35 may be there.
Inappropriate. Once a woman reaches 30, 31 max, her wardrobe should only be purchased from the Harriet Carter catalog or QVC’s Quacker Factory. Maybe the Blair catalog if she’s feeling thirsty.

Why? What difference does a woman's age make? What's your objection to the breasts of women over the age of 35? Why is it okay for younger women but not for older women to expose their chests and breasts? Do you have mommy or granny issues? Are you jealous? Are you afraid older women's breasts will suddenly leap out and yell "Boo!" and slap you in the face or smother you or something? LOL.
Where I live women of any age legally have a right to go completely bare breasted anywhere in public if they want to. 99% don't of course because it's usually too cold, but they still have the right to bare it all in public. That includes bare breast feeding babies in public too. If other people don't like it that's their problem and nobody is forcing them to look.
I'm really glad that you are seeing lots of women over the age of 35 who are wearing really low cut tops. I wish all the more bare breast power to them and I hope you'll eventually notice many more doing it.
Just think about this - one day in the future the same law we have where I live will come to where you live too. It may take another 20 or 30 years but you should mentally prepare yourself for that now so that it will be easier for you to get used to seeing bare boobies joyfully bouncing in the breeze when you're at the park or when you go grocery shopping.
Indecent exposure is still a law in my area. Ever so thankful too. No matter the gender ,some skin parts fair better with coverage.
I don't need to be at a restaurant and see more buns prevailing with legs then on a platter. Same with the upper body features. Have a bit of discrete attire. I took anatomy and passed. I don't need a review ....this attitude of if you don't like it,don't look...is granting the exhibitionist full range....while I am being asked to tolerate.
Not prudish....stylish with grace ....not disgrace.

This is an ageless rule. It would be nice if everyone followed it. I don't actually object to modesty. I DO object to ageism.
36-year-olds are not suddenly crones who should don babushkas and patio dresses. The OP asked a ridiculously prejudiced question. S/He needs to learn.
