Yuck. Sadly, these days, there are no rules, at least for the younger generations who don't "believe" in them. I think this would look hideous. But they don't care what anyone thinks............
I'm firmly anti light-colored dress shoes in general. A few years back, when nude pumps were a thing, I tried on a pair with a formal event ensemble, and, just...no. not a good look. Paired with that other stuff evenn less of a good look.
I wouldn't be caught dead in the outfit the OP describes. It would be black shoes or boots (depending on the season) but black tights in the summer? Bizarre.

exactly but I also think long sleeves in the summertime are bizarre . what about the girls who don't wear any foundation garmets such as shapers , bras you get the idea some of them that really need them don't wear them and I think that is a horrible look as well .
PLEASE----is this a thing??? I've seen several younger women dressed this way and I think it looks bizarre. I thought this was "against the rules"!
I sort of get the feeling the younger generation have become "obsessed" (their favorite term!) with dressing in things which look strange and even sort of hideous.....its a thing I guess.
I can envision it. And sincerely like the vision of such. Attitude and finesse can pull off a burlap bag with gym sneakers.
I recall some 1940s fashions going with such shoes with dark suits or gown dresses. Love the idea
