What Is "PINK"? (color, guys, clothes, thin)

I see women wearing these shirts or sweatpants with the word "PINK" on them, even though the item is a different color like gray or white. So what is the purpose of this word "PINK" printed on these clothes? Especially when the clothing color isn't actually pink?
