How would you describe a guy's build at 5'8/ 125 lbs?
Is it appropriate to be called "petite" (as a guy)?

Am I considered "tiny"? (I'm Asian btw)

Your height is fine, but 125 lbs is too low of a weight for a grown man. If you start eating more and weight training and pack on at least 20 to 30 lbs, I bet you'd look a lot better.

Default Called "Petite" As a Male- Is That Appropriate?

I'm 5'8/ 125 lbs Asian.

A few people have called me "petite". Even though I am gay, is that still considered an appropriate description for a male?
I would think it is more used to describe a female?

Anyone else feel they were described in unexpected words for their body size?

Petite in clothing means under 5'4". So no, that does not describe you. "Slim build" is a better description.

The French form would be "petit," but yes, petite has female connotations.

There really isn't a male alternative to "petite." You are super slim. Maybe "slight" would do it?

When you say, "a few," seriously how many times has this happened to you?

About 5 times over the last 2-3 years?

Can the mod move this post to "Non-romantic" for opinions? thanks

You don't have much meat on your bones I'll say that.

And 5'8" is kind of short for a guy. It might be "average" but I still consider it fairly short.
And at 125 pounds, you're definitely very thin. IMO.

For a man, 125 is pretty small, yes.
