Personally, I'm not a fan of Mana, and I think he's a little stuck up. But I love Malice Mizer (back when Japanese superstar Gackt was the vocalist and before Kami, one of the drummers, died). Also, to me, most of Moi Dix Mois' music sounds the same to me.
But since this is the fashion forum and not the music forum....
I love Japanese fashion, and the type that Mana is into is gothic Lolita. He's often credited for starting the whole thing back when Visual Kei bands were growing in popularity in Japan, before they became so popluar and cheesey.
If you want some really neat fashion in the music industry, google "Visual Kei". You'll find plenty of pictures of Mana/Malice Mizer/Moi Dix Mois and other big bands like X-Japan, Dir en Grey, Pierrot, ect.
If you want even cooler fashion google "Shibuya street fashion". :]
Since you are fascinated by Mana, I attached an image that I always thought was funny. Mana is not an isolated case, by far.
Personally, I love the Gothic Lolita and Visual Kei fashion styles. They're just sooo appealing to me.
Haha, nice one! :] Sadly, I know which one is the female, too. And I don't see why people always put pictures of Yoshiki in things like this because I've never thought that he looked at all feminine, even with the hair and make up.
What an odd world I had no knowledge of. Interesting!
