I am not a plus girl, but that outfit is a no way even on my worst day. I am a firm believer you can dress nice in any size, but that outfit has so many things wrong.
The jacket is way the wrong size and the wrong cut with the emphasis falling in all the wrong places. The sleeves are not flattering in the least and make the arms look even larger.
The high neck scarf thing is a no no with a loud print if you are larger on top regardless if you are "plus" or not.
The shoes are cute-but I wouldn't have paired them with that outfit.
Also with her coloring I would have definitely gone with a different color palette. The beige just makes her look washed out.
I'd have to agree with everything you just said.
Those sleeves are odd-looking too, so I'm not sure the jacket would be flattering on anyone. :/
I agree with all of the comments: bad color, unflattering neckline, jacket doesn't fit. Also, that poor woman does not need pockets at the hip and thigh. That is truly a fashion crime.
It was sorta OK -- not my style, but if someone else liked it, who am I to judge? -- until the jacket was added. That jacket is all sorts of wrong -- wrong size, wrong length, wrong everything.
I wouldn't buy it because it looks like it shows bra straps. Also it's not that pretty anyway.
And there is nothing flattering about that horrid jacket.
