I haven't taken a bath in over 20 years. Standard bathtubs are not comfortable for me at all and I don't have access to a one of those big luxury whirlpool tubs.

I take a shower everyday. I do not like baths. Like you said, Renee22, sitting in dirty water...yuck!

I have no interest in spending the time to take a bath. I do hit the Jacuzzi at the gym after I work out, but that's different.

Shower only, I am no fish. I won't even rent an apartment with a tub. Taking a bath is quite a waste of water and energy (after all, not only do you need more water, but more hot water).

Regarding the dirt, there is that saying to throw the baby out with the bath water. It comes from the times when the entire family used to take a bath in the same water, first the father, then the mother, then the kids, oldest first. At the end the water was so dirty that sometimes you wouldn't see the little kid in it anymore

I mostly take showers.

But some of the time, I'll take me a nice hot bath in the evening before bed (maybe like 2 times a week). It's a nice change.

I've been loving the bath lately at night. Sometimes shower in the morning.

A shower because it uses less water and baths make me VERY tired.
