Considering all those cities are largely tourist and snow bird based economies.... we are bound to suffer jobs when times get rough. I'm surprised we are doing as well as we are. It isn't that there aren't lots of job categories available....there are just less people needed to fill those positions than previously.

The city that does surprise me on that list is Jacksonville. It is way less reliant on RE, tourism, and retirees. It's also a military town, which in theory should keep the economy more stable. That plus its other largest industries are healthcare, finance/insurance, and logistics/trade.
