Moving back to Michigan after almost 2 years in FL. Not our cup of tea, but might be yours. We live in the Davenport area. They call it the 4-corners. They have a great school district (Polk County) and it is a really nice neighborhood. Only about 10-15 mins from Disney. Housing is very reasonable. Stay away from Poinseana and Haines City. Parts of Kissimmee are nice and so are parts of Orlando. If I were to do it again, I would move by the beach or the coast. We moved into the middle of state as we were worried about hurricanes, but if you are gonna move to FL, might as welll be by the water. Oh, and make sure the home or apt you are going to has a pool..that is the only thing I liked about here, my pool! It has been very hot here already. Was 95 today and it is only May. The summers are hummid and very hot! Good Luck & best of wishes!

Defiinitely move to a town on the coast. I think it's way too hot if you aren't near an ocean. East coast is cooler and the water is cleaner.
