Oh you've opened my eyes, I can see clearly now. Rick Scott is just an innocent victim of having to do the unpopular, but necessary thing. So basically what you're saying is that if your household income was no longer able to meet your family budget, the first place you'd look for cuts would be your children, grandma, and your disabled wife.

There's no way around it folks, in the wake of over 10+ years of Republican big government boondoggles in the State of Florida, Gov. Alienface is slashing help for those who need it most, and giving it to those already capable of insane profits.

The guy spent $60 Million of his own money. Why in the world would someone do that? Sure as heck not to help disabled people which cannot help him get a return on his $60 million investment. Now, helping his buddies, business owners and others that have money will definitely help him get a return on his $60 million investment. The man is a venture capitalist, always has been and I am sure he still is. Venture capitalist only spend money on things they think they can get a return on. I am sure his campaign was no different.

Scott is needlessly divisive. I have no problem with trimming the budget. It has to be done, but Scott is trying to cut education while at the same time cutting taxes for corporations. It seems like his priorities are pretty out of whack.

Nathan Deal in Georgia campaigned on fiscal responsibility, but he has come in and tried to cut fat where it should be cut, and he has done a good job of listening to people and compromising.

I don't think anybody would say that the budget shouldn't be cut, it's just Scott's abrasive, divisive nature and his out of whack priorities that people (including myself) can't stand. Oh and don't even get me started on his ethic (lack thereof). I don't understand how he got elected.
On the question in bold: a nice mix of ODS (Obama Derangement Syndrome, i.e. the onset of acute insanity in otherwise rational people by the mere existence of Barack Obama and/or his policies) coupled with some rather spectacular apathy among moderate and left-of-center voters.

More proof to me that we need to demarcate this state along I-4. If folks in Pensacola and Jacksonville want to live in this free market utopia with no taxes, no social services, and no public schools, why stop them?

Really? Florida should be leading the country in education quality for the low funding your state puts into education.

I am not seeing your theory play out in this chart. What am I missing?
