First catastrophe of the move....
They made me take my cat out of his carrier and even though I had him in a harness with a leash, he wiggled out of my hands and got loose in the airport! He made a huge scene and ran under a table and he clawed the crap outta me. I was bleeding and needed 4 bandages. Poor guy, once I grabbed him he was fine, and he hasn't made a peep since, but I'm in Denver now on a layover.
So if you are traveling with a cat, ask for a private room for screening. Don't ever let them tell you to take a cat out of its safe spot and hold it in front of 100's of people. I don't blame him at all for freaking out.
