Happy St Patrick's Day to everyone! Traditionally, this was a big drinking day for hubby and I - in our much younger years. Green beer, shots, waiting in line to get into the Irish Pubs in the NE...many fond memories...and many St Patrick's Days that are just a blur. Now that we have little ones, we're going to take my daughter to dance class, put her down for a nap and then I'm going to cook up a big pot of Corned Beef & cabbage for dinner. My first St Patrick's Day in Florida

Want to honor St. Patrick? Go to mass.

I once asked my Mother, who's from the Old Country, why she never made corned beef and cabbage. "I didn't come to America to eat cabbage" was the reply.

Happy St-Patrick's day to all.
Although I won't be doing anything I don't usually do. I'm not Irish, nor am I Catholic. I don't have restrictions on alcohol consumption, so there is no need for me to go binge drinking on this day... I just never quite understood the whole fracas over it.

Happy St Patricks today, will be on a Yacht celebration with my family/friends starting from 7pm, to take in the sunset and just enjoy the smaller things in life. Should be a beautiful day

Sounds like a great night! We never do anything different for St Patricks Day. Just the normal. I even forgot to wear green!
