Can anyone help recommend a place where i can rent a bungalow or nice little beach house for 2 nights? I want to bring my wife to FL and get a place right on the beach or as close as possible. We will be driving from Dallas, TX to Florida. Does the Pensacola area have some good areas? Mind you that i have a 1 year old daughter as well so i place where we can enjoy a couple nights on the beach and some good eats with the family is recommended.

Thank you !

Algiers is nice, but there are a whole lot of beachfront resorts along the west coast.

St Joseph Peninsula State Park has some cabins.

Other state parks have cabins as well, look through the state park website. Bahia Honda State Park in the Keys is beautiful but that would be an additional day drive from the panhandle.

Plenty of privatly owned resorts/cabins as well

Everyone I know who has ever stayed on Anna Maria Island and rented one of the many bungalow options there has thoroughly enjoyed themselves and would recommend checking it out.

Since you are driving and only have two days to spend on the beach, I would recommend something closer, like Pensacola Beach, Navarre Beach, Destin, Grayton Beach, Seaside, etc. Check on VRBO.com and see what you can find. Two days is a pretty short rental period so you may have to consider a hotel.
