We have a house we are looking at buying in the Highlander Estates area on Rob Roy Dr. in Clermont. The neighborhood appears to be nice, people doing upgrades on their yards etc. I am concerned with the apartments right there called Osprey Ridge. I have heard that there are issues and trouble there. I am also very concerned on the area surrounding that development. It looks like alot of track homes, apartments, and run down areas. When we drove down East Ave. by Clermont Middles School and Clermont Elementry it looks real bad. The schools appear to be in bad shape the area by and around the schools look real bad. I just dont know if it is a good area to buy. I'm sure the area in Highlander Estates and surrounding area has gone down in the past 10 years, just wondering what it will be like in 10 more years. If we buy in there will I ever get our money out of the house in 10 years. If anyone has any comments or input on this area I would appreciate it. I have 4 children and am looking to do whats best. If not in this area we have also been looking at new homes in the Minneola area by the new high school. Thank you

Highlander Estates in Clermont
does anyone know how the Highlander Estates in Clermont is? I really need some input on the development and the surrounding neighborhoods. East Ave looks really run down what is the crime rate, is it safe, is it worth buying a house in the Highlander Estates area of Rob Roy? I am concerned that in a few years that area might be really run down and I will not get my money out of the house we are thinking of buying. Is the Mineolla area around the new high school where they are building new houses a better investment? Please help
