Good Morning Floridians!

We are excited and blessed to make our move to Florida! My wife and I just found out she matched for Residency in Oak Hill Hospital. We are planning our move for June 1st and are excited to start this new chapter in our lives.

I've been looking on this Forum and a few other apartment websites to get an idea of the area, but haven't had much luck. I would love to get some ideas from fellow members here to see which apartments are well rated, safe and close to this hospital. We were thinking of keeping it withing a 10 mile radius, hoping traffic isn't as bad a Houston here.

Since I will be heavily commuting back and forth from Houston, I wanted to make sure we found a place which had grocery stores within a fair distance and was safe for my wife to live by herself when I am not in town.

Thank you once again, I really do appreciate all your thoughts, tips and ideas

Congratulations! Unfortunately however in terms of housing you landed in an area that's heavily populated by retirees who don't have the need for traditional apartment communities, and the vast majority of what you're looking for is about 20 miles away in the northern Tampa suburbs around Land O Lakes. I did a quick search myself and found one complex that looks promising not far from the hospital in Spring Hill. Hope it works out for you, and good luck!
