I am married and a father to a 2 year old boy. My wife and I are looking to moving to the Florida Panhandle region. Are there places we should stay away from?

In terms of best family places in the Panhandle that are at least somewhat affordable, I'd say Tallahassee, Ft. Walton Beach, and Santa Rosa County in between Ft. Walton Beach and Pensacola. Those areas tend to have good schools and more with-it adult populations. Walton County between FWB and Panama City is nice along the coast, but takes effort to find affordable.
