Suwanee because I dont really like Orlando at all and I like that area of GA better for a number of reasons.

I'm sure you would comsense, because it's not a fair comparison. How about comparing Suwanee to Lake Mary, or Atlanta to Orlando?

Much, much fairer comparison.

ATL over Orlando, and between Lake Mary and Suwanee, I'd have to take Suwanee but I do like Lake Mary. But Lake Mary is just a nicer part of Orlando to me really. Like Winter Park. A really nice little "pocket" but to me, it's still Orlando.

Suwanee is just a nicer part of Atlanta really...traffic on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd is fun, and Buford Hwy is also the gateway into some really crappy parts of Atlanta (yes, there are crappy parts of Atlanta). It's a wash IMO.

I've got a friend in Lawrenceville. He moved there from Asheville. Yes, there are definitely some crappy areas of ATL, it's a HUGE city. I think the ghettos of ATL are worse than those in ORL. But if I were to choose a region if the comparison were Central FL vs North GA, I'd choose North GA all day. I would be opposed to living in Atlanta due to the crime and the horrendous traffic.
