Bought a turkey for thanksgiving at the local super market, when i got it home and took off the wrapping it had no skin on the breast and was missing one leg
just unwrapped the Christmas turkey,it has no skin on the legs and is missing a wing
Where in the process are these birds being mutilated?,i sure hope its after they've been slaughtered..
I sometimes get those "utility" grade turkeys, the one at Thanksgiving was missing a leg and a thigh. For Xmas I got a "Grade A". It even had it's liver! Yum!!
I'd save that label with the plant number and call/or email them with pictures of the bird and let them know exactly what you think about their quality control. Time to start checking the plants where the birds come from.
