We hear a lot about the cost of food going up these days. I thought it would be an interesting thread just to post your local best food deals. It will be interesting just to see how much the price of food varies from place to place. Thursday is my food flyer day so I'll start off. This week isn't so good as last. Maybe food is going up.
Lean ground pork or extra lean chicken $1.99\lb
pork tenderloin ribs $2.99\lb
Seedless watermelon, pineapples, 1 lb strawberries, 3 for $5
bacon $2.88\lb
Pork loin chops $1.77\lb

These are just a few of the better deals this week.
I have my eye on whole beef packer brisket for $2.20/#, going to fill the cart when I can get to the store. May grab some corned beef flats for $2.90/#. All will end up on the smoker.

Cabbage .29 cents pound (lettuce and spinach each were $1.99 so I bought 2 heads of cabbage which I know my family will love! lol)

Ten pound packs of frozen chicken leg quarters are 52c a pound this week.
