Butter beans --- not limas! (frozen, vegetables, buy, taste)

I grew up in Georgia, and one of my favorite vegetables is the butter bean.
Now to me, the butter bean is a small flat bean, pale green when raw, and still green when cooked. I do not care for the speckled variety.
My mother cooked them with salt, a pinch of sugar, and streak o' lean (AKA fat back) for about two hours. This produced a firm bean in a golden pot likker that contained tiny fat globules.
Now, when I buy so-called butter beans, they cook up mushy and the pot likker is cloudy. It is definitely not the same. I think I am being sold baby limas instead of butter beans.
So, does anyone know where in GA I can get some REAL butter beans this summer? Alas, I have no place to plant my own.

Lima beans and butter beans are the same thing. A lima bean is picked when its still green and a butter bean is picked after fully developed.
If you like the green ones then you are eating lima beans. If you like the white ones then you are eating butter beans.

I have run across this definition in the process of looking elsewhere on the internet.
What I know as "butter beans" are small, and "white" butterbeans are pale green when raw and slightly darker green when cooked. They were sold in stores and farmer's markets as butterbeans, not limas.
The last few times I bought them, frozen, they were labeled butterbeans, but they did not cook the same or taste the same. They seemed to be limas rather than the butterbean I am looking for.
Try looking for Fordhook beans or Fordhook lima beans.
Nope, that's not what I know as a butterbean.
