Keep that anecdote in mind for the following story: Denny's currently offers an all-you-can-eat pancake special for $5. Over the weekend, seven teenage boys went to a Foothill Ranch Denny's and ordered the promotion. And then they began to eat. And eat. And eat. And eat. For 24 hours straight. Nothing but pancakes.

The buffets used to hate my football buddies and I when we would come rumbling thru the door. You could just hear the Manager saying- there went my profit performance for the day! LOL

Now, that is funny. Having had three teenage boys myself, all home at the same time...I think I know how the cook felt.

They once went to a chinese buffet by our home, and were told, "You done, No More Food for You".
I made that my favorite saying at home too.

Teenage boys will literally eat you out of house and home. I had to tell them, only one gallon of milk a day, that is it. When they finished that, we made powered milk. I also had their own personal shelf in the fridge, and own personal cupboard, they could eat as much as they wanted from their shelf, and their cupboard...but had to ask if they went out of those boundaries...because otherwise you go to cook dinner, and everything you thought was there, was gone...all the time! Two in basketball, at 6'2, and 6"4, all they do is eat...one in track...same thing.

This is commonly known science. Teen boys have big mouths and stomachs. Even moreso if they are in sports. I turn 23 in a week and I can't throw down at a buffet at the same performance like I could when I was 16-21.

Man I do love me some pancakes, but good lord I'd have diabetes after eating them for 24 hours straight.

Especially at IHOP. The pancakes are good, but I section out all the syrups on top of my pancakes and eat it. That way I can taste a different flavor in nearly every bite.

I haven't eaten at IHOP in so long.
