I bought a 2.8 ounce jar of Pampa Instant Coffee at Walmart..........what a great deal........one dollar.

Well, I was all relaxed and ready to have my strong, yummy Sunday coffee.

Open up the container of Pampa and smell it..............NOTHING.....no delicious coffee smell. That was a troubleing first sign. But I trudged on.....like an idiot. Made one 20 ounce cup with a rounded Tablespoon of the Pampa Instant. MY FIRST SIP.........NO COFFEE TASTE AT ALL. Now I am ready to panic.........but like an idiot I trudged on.

I was ready to write off all of the shortcomings so far..............as long as I got a good caffeine buzz(just finished a 2 day caffeine fast). I drink about half of what should be really strong coffee......I should be really energized.............but............I feel next to no stimulant effect. Finish 2 cups of this coffee.......almost no stimulant effect.

Like an idiot, I gave it one more try today........same thing........threw out the rest of the junk......not coffee in my book.

If you are a coffee junkie who NEEDS strong coffee............WARNING..............DO NOT BUY THIS DRECK.

my guess is that most coffee junkies wouldnt be buying instant coffee, even less one of the cheapest instant coffees available. but i appreciate you trying it. aldi has instant coffee (beaumont i think) thats even cheaper than the pampa. please try it and let me know how you like it.

i rarely drink coffee but ive gotten some nescafe instant coffee for almost nothing. you just get the coupons and then use them on the little box of 7 individual coffee things. if they double the coupon, it can be had for super cheap.

Yeah, the WM value brand is Ok. But I think I am going to have to stick to quality, that cheapo move wiith the Pampa was not worth it.

Instant coffee is gross IMO. I need to make a fresh cup or pot of "real" coffee. I use my keurig and it comes out perfect every time.

I'm not as rich as you... I do enjoy fresh coffee,,, hopefully Choc kick in the nuts when it is on sale..

I'm a pretty basic guy..so Instant is ok for me most times..

19.95 coffee maker works fine for me.....

WalMart's website product desctription says it is "made with real cheese". so I don't see what the problem could be.

Walmart.com: Pampa Instant Coffee, 2.82 oz: Beverages
