It's still an idea, since I've never actually had this before, but my 'dream' dessert would be like a really well baked cherry pie with hot, crunchy, crumbly pastry with marzipan or rosewater-flavoured ice cream.

What about you?

I had a dessert once at a restaurant - it was warm apple pie with a crispy almond crust, topped with home made whipped cream and alongside was a large scoop of homemade cinnamon ice cream. I never forgot it - i think it was the best dessert i ever ate, and one of the best foods altogether that i ever ate.

I also love Applebee's blondie with the ice cream and carmel sauce (hot), or homemade chocolate mousse - a large dish!!

When I was a child, we often had Peppermint Ice Box Cake, oh...I could eat a whole pan of that, just for me. It is so cool, and minty, whipped cream, fluffiness, layered with crushed chocolate cookies, just all chocolatey. My dream is that it would have no calories, and I could eat it every day.

I'm not a great Dessert lover but it would have to be a Souffle. The best dessert I ever had was a Grand Marnier Souffle and it was just fabulous. I also love Dark Chocolate , Pistachio and Praline Souffles.

Other desserts I enjoy are Syllabubs ( Lemon or Passion fruit) and occasionally Possets ( also Lemon). Most desserts are too sweet, heavy and rich for my liking.

I like the brownie and the little apple thingy that they give you in the Hungry Man dinners!

When I was little, my grandmother took me to her friend Elsie's house. Elsie gave me a piece of cake, or torte, which was the best cake I've ever had. I don't remember much about it except it had several layers, filled with light creamy frosting which I think might have been mocha. There were chocolate chips too, I think. I've never come across anything that was even close.
Funny how certain things stick with you.

Creme brulee. Just plain, no flavors thanks. Followed closely (well, not at the same meal) by tiramisu.

Right now, I could really go for an ice cold piece of keylime pie with mounds of real, freshly whipped cream- maricheno cherry on top!!!
