When's the last time you ate a frozen pot pie? (ingredients, healthiest)

More than 1/2 the calories in that pie comes from fat. It's like eating 400 calories of flour and chicken and veggies with 6 tablespoons of butter on top. That.. is not healthy, HA. Yes. I ate the whole pie. When we were kids, I remember eating the smaller ones. Everybody could choose if they wanted chicken, or beef or turkey. Stringier chicken or turkey may never exist, that once was not part of a $.25 cent pot pie. (I think they were 4 for a dollar back in the day.)

Had a pot pie within the last month. I actually like them, just as long as it isn't often, as I know it isn't the healthiest choice of food to eat. My favorite is beef. As a youngster I detest pot pies, just about gagged on every morsel I consumed.

Swanson used to make a pot pie -- chicken or beef, take your pick -- that, instead of the pie crust on top, was topped with mashed potatoes. Oh my god, I'm full from dinner right now, but if you put one in front of me, I'd go to town on it.
The answer to your question: I had one -- not a potato-topped one -- about a month ago. It was sinfully delicious.
Had one of Marie's not long ago; 2 months maybe? Prompted me to make one from scratch soon after. I do not make food decisions based on how healthy the ingredients are, but on taste and taste alone.

A few weeks ago, we keep Schwanns chicken pot pies in the freezer for those nights when I don't feel like cooking a big meal or he gets home after I've gone to bed.
