I love the peppery, spicy flavor of the Tazo Chai Latte that they sell at Starbucks, but it's a little too rich and sweet for me. (AND expensive!)

So I buy the Tazo Chai Tea bags at Target (took me a while to find where to buy some....they're about $3.50 for 20 bags...yes, 20!) and make my own. I just bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil, add 1/2 cup of skim milk, and steep about 7 minutes. I leave the burner on low as it steeps because I like my hot drinks hot. While it steeps, I put a couple of scant teaspoons of sugar in my mug, then pour the tea over, stir, and it tastes exactly like the Starbucks one, minus the excessive creaminess and sweetness and expense.

Do any of you do the same sort of thing with your own favorite Starbucks (or other coffee shop) drinks?
