This does sound good. I'm fine with potatoes, onions, and carrots with the chicken on top. No turnips necessary. Yum.

Bananas. I hate the taste/smell and the way you can't get the smell off your breath after eating one. Ugh.

Other than that, can't think of any fruit/veggie that I dislike.

Oh, another one I hate: watermelon. Can't even stand the smell of that stuff. Tried it once at a friend's house when I was a little kid, never touched it again. Icky stuff!!!

This fruit, specifically, is native to a country where my husband is periodically sent for work. Per him, it smells horrible, tastes fine.

People always say that about durian, but I don't understand how you can separate the smell from the taste.

A lot of great cheeses smell horribly pungent but taste great. Durian has been referred to as akin to stinky cheese.

Along the same lines and to the original post, ripe papaya smells like straight-up vomit. I can't deal with it! (unless it's hidden among other fruits in a smoothie or something)
Green papaya is awesome, and so are the papaya seeds, but no way to the ripe stuff.

True also.

The sour smell of some strong cheeses is offputting, yet, they taste great.

Much in the same way I'll eat a tuna salad sandwich, even though opening the can or pouch is akin to handling catfood.
