I have some great ripe heirloom tomatoes in my garden. Tonight, I made BLTs. It is a summer treat...one I will dream about this winter when the snow is flying.

Great bread, home made mayo, ripe tomatoes from the garden, crisp lettuce and a bit of salt and pepper...and of course, the star of the show, smoked bacon.

Is there a better sandwich that says summer?

{{{You}}} I wouldn't be able to turn my mind off, either. <3

Dinner tonight was spaghetti with meat sauce. DH used some tomatoes and sweet Italian peppers from the garden. So good! Fresh peach for dessert.

Sounds awesome! Cal-Mex is the best, you're making me homesick.

I had a lean cuisine tonight, and hubs had the last two Italian sausages wrapped in flour tortillas with spicy brown mustard (Italian-German-Tex??). 😉
