I had the free sandwich at Subway. Hubs had the paid for one.

Mine was tuna on wheat, his was philly steak.

Enough for lunch tomorrow, left over.

I skipped the steak and eggs I had planned for breakfast ....

and I rolled with

Grilled strips of NY steak in a cast iron skillet

I added crimini mushrooms and broccoli and butter / EVOO oil as needed ( very little )

Steak started in a cast iron skillet with salt pepper and bacon lard in the pan

Steak removed then other items cooked off within 2-3 mins

It was fantastic !

Kind of an American stir fry

steak strips were medium rare and could cut easily with a fork
