OMG. I'm so sorry.

Can you throw that on some mashed potatoes and put some gravy and a fried egg on top?

I'm still full from dinner yesterday. DH had - what else? Ham, potatoes au gratin and a piece of carrot cake.

Daughter made a wonderfully frou-frou salad composee yesterday that even the men liked. She was generous to leave the remaining ingredients and I am going to have the rest before I got to bed tonight.

Mezclun, strawberry fans, sliced goat cheese and honey rolled in chopped pecans, red onion slivers and carmelized pecans. I couldn't believe how tasty the dressing was. She made it with mango and orange juice. It was a perfect balance of fragrant sweet/sour. There is also a leftover croissant to accompany it. Lucky me!

Tonight a spicy potato, peas and carrot soup with cilantro chapatis, homemade yogurt, onion rings and lassi. For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit. ( I think grapefruit season is almost done, noticed the peel is very soft and less flavor)

You poor thing! Come on over.

Very spicy boneless skinless chicken thighs off the grill, oven roasted potatoe quarters with lots of fresh sage, pan fried buttery carrots, romaine with something, maybe crepes with honey.
