I hope that's it. I hope she's not having problems with a stalker or something.

Today my youngest turned six! After a day celebrating it's tradition in our family that the birthday person picks a restaurant. The birthday boy picked Dairy Queen. To be honest it wasn't that bad just not our usual fare. I had a cheeseburger, fries and a sprite.

I figure I take photos of the fancy pants places we go. Why not the unfancy places too!

I made a lightish meal of small baked potatoes with dukkah, cottage cheese, and green onions, plus another Big Salad. This time it was spinach, green leaf, endive, celery, artichoke hearts, tomato, and chicken with buttermilk-dill dressing and crumbled saltines for croutons.

Let's just say I'm making room for the holidays.

Tonight I first lit the pellet stove as the house was beginning to cool down for the cold night ahead here on the Texas South Plains. Then I baked a link of smoked sausage and had it with a real mashed potato and corn on the cob.

After dinner, I played a little music but no one was here to hear it but me.
