What's the best way to do this? My rice cooker has settings for white and brown rice. I assume I use the white rice setting? The package says to boil for 15-20 minutes, but no instructions for a rice cooker.

I've never heard of quick cook brown rice and the only Google hit for it in a rice cooker was this: https://www.chowhound.com/post/quick...-cooker-875559 ... and the person who asked the question never went back to report on how it went.
Rice cookers, by definition, shut off when the rice is done. If I were doing this experiment, I'd do one part rice, two parts water, hit the start button, and hope for the best. If it's too crunchy when the cooker goes off, add more water, stir, and turn it on again.
Thanks Dawn. I read that same hit before posting this. I cooked it tonite and it turned out well. I used the white rice setting, and it took 37 minutes. Regular brown rice in the same cooker takes 71 minutes. Ridiculously long !

Fantastic! I'm so glad that you got it to work -- and at about half the time. Excellent!
Yes, rice cookers take longer to cook whole grains. Just like any other method. When the grain still has the hull/bran,cooking just takes longer.
