I was wondering, does your local McDonald's still offer the 2 for $1 apple pie deal?

My nearest locations stopped offering it a while back; they are now 1 for $1 and 2 for $1.69. However, there are some locations in other parts of the Phoenix area that still offer the deal. I know it varies by franchisee whether or not to offer the deal. I presume in the past franchisees might have been required to offer the deal, but not anymore.

Honestly, I have no idea. On occasion, I'll eat their one dollar cheeseburger. I eat the most maligned, unhealthy food stuff - packaged ramen noodles. But I'm not eating those apple things.

No. And I loved them (at least before they started frying vice baking them).

In terms of flavor and texture Mickey-D’s apple pie is among the few things they sell that are worth eating.

I haven't had an apple pie from there since they stopped frying them.

Any mention of McD Apple Pies brings back "fond" memories of burning my mouth with the molten lava inside. This was before they figured out scalding coffee and deserts were not a good idea.

Wow, I've never seen the strawberry pies before! Overseas, I've seen pineapple and taro pies, but nothing other than apple pies in the States. I bet the strawberry is tasty.
