I ALWAYS peruse the candy shoppe when I've visited England (which was at least once a year for a couple of decades.). I know what Smarties are, but have never heard of these. I'm intrigued. Are they hard candy or a soft taffy?
There is 80 gm sugar in 100 gm product. They are foam-like chewy sweets.
Swizzels Squashies Drumstick are the fun to munch confection that are sweet, colourful and pillowy. These puffy sweets are infused with creamy milk and raspberry flavours, so they're almost like a milkshake, but in a highly snackable candy format. https://www.amazon.com/Swizzels-Matl.../dp/B008POW63M
No raspberries or creamy milk discovered on ingredients list...
Smarties Squashies are the American brand, although made in the UK. They could be found for 99 cents a bag at Walmart, etc., until a few celebrities touted them on SM. Now they're $6 a bag and available only on Amazon. You can still order from the UK or a site called Bulk Candy, but then the shipping costs are prohibitive. I just wondered if anyone had seen them around for a reasonable price.
"Foam" would describe the texture. It's not sticky like a marshmallow or hard like a gummy; very unusual and unique. I let them dissolve in my mouth. Delicious!
