"Remove neck and giblets"
There aren't any!
I haven't cooked a whole one in a while and don't usually buy Tyson if there's a choice.
Is this a new thing?

I buy whole chickens and I buy whatever is on sale and its been a while since I found any giblets, sometimes there is a neck. In fact, some of the packages warn the giblets may be missing.

Giblets are a wash, cost-wise. If I get them, they get cooked covered in the microwave on low as a treat while I process the rest of the bird. If you don't know why I cook them slow and covered, try the alternative sometime...

I make giblet gravy with them when I have chicken and dressing.
I'm just as happy to have the factory leave the giblets out. I'm paying for them by the pound and no one in my family will eat them except for the dogs.
I wish the turkey factory would leave out that packet of "gravy" mix that weighs a couple of pounds and that I throw into the trash after paying for it by the pound.
back in the good ole days, 50 years ago more or less, most of my contemporaries and I cooked the paper wrapped neck and giblets hidden in the neck cavity with the bird at least once
