OH NO!!!
Another recall. It is sad that we try to eat healthy with nuts, yogurt, fruits And veggies, and all seems tainted in one way or another!
Something else to try to "grow your own..."

Default Stoney Yogurt Recall

Well, I stopped consuming their Yogurt years ago when they started to use the ALUMINUM SEAL, that aluminum spoils all of the yogurt, gives it a metallic taste. After all, aluminum is neurological destroyer of the brain and it is poison. I emailed them years ago and said, I would never buy their yogurt again. ORGANIC to not organic with aluminum seals, people you are consuming aluminum is it is a health destroyer. Like look for alzheimers to be visiting your brain in the near future. That aluminum seals are NOT NECESSARY just contaminates the yogurt,is is so stupid.

Oh my,
I NEVER thought of that! Most yogurts and dairy products do have an aluminum "safety" covering! Thank you!!! A friend told me recently how to make yogurt at home. I have dairy goats and drink it unpasteurized, myself. My herd is healthy and clean... So now I will start making my own yogurt, too.

try it drained, too.

Put a piece of cloth in a colander, mix about a tsp. salt into about a quart of yogurt, mixed smooth, pour the yogurt in, close the cloth up, and let it drain over night (I kept it out of the fridge but I suspect health people would recommend it be in the fridge). Next day or afternoon, you will have a wonderful creamy spread for crackers, toast, etc.... This is called labneh, btw.

I was never crazy bout Stonyfield. I use only raw yogurt products now. I must admit I find it interesting that all these recalls are happening while the Monsanto aka "food safety bill" is trying to be passed.

Aluminimum lids - jeezzze - You've raised an obvious point here that I've never thought about. I eat their yogurt every day.

My favorite yogurt is the Publix brand- fruit on the bottom - Honey.

I could see where the foil covering on the thread topic yogurt wouldn't be a good idea. I wonder why in the world they ever started that?
