I'm not for sure, but I think that Burger King and Long John Silvers are just plain HORRIBLE for you. Sure they probably have lots of protein though. I am not sure if Subway is classified as fast food, but I think its pretty healthy. Please correct me if I'm wrong because I am too lazy to just go check on the restaurant's site. Maybe there is just a fast food restaurant that is only in your city that you think is very bad for you.

Evos would definitely be the healthiest fast food (organic)....

EVOS

Chipotle would be also one of the healthiest ...

Chipotle: Gourmet Burritos and Tacos

As far as the unhealthiest, I think McDonald's and Jack in the Box would top the list.

I think it depends on your definition of "healthy". Food can be low in calories which is good but high in sodium which isn't really healthy. Plus, how do you rate the places against each other? By how many low calorie options they have or how many calories their highest calorie meal has or how many high calorie options there are?

Because you can find relatively healthy foods at pretty much any fast food place these days. For example, a few of McDonald's chicken, salad or fish options are surprisingly low in calories (which I consider under 400 calories, no fries, drink water)

I'm not denying they have some really unhealthy stuff and it's not like I would recommend fast food for health food! But if you actually look at the nutritional values, you might be surprised that not everything is like 100000000 calories and you can make somewhat healthy choices when ordering, even from the bad-rep places like Burger King and McDonalds.

Chick-Fil-A ranks as one of the top and Hardee's and Burger King rank at the bottom.

You do have some options is you are looking for lower calorie choices, but there are NO "healthy" fast food chains, just lesser evils. As another poster mentioned, most fast foods are high in sodium, even "low calorie/healthy option" type foods. Sub sandwiches have huge amounts of sodium, as much or more than most people need in a day. There is also the question of processing practices and preservatives in foods.

Most FF places have nutitional info posted or availible on brochures (or website), and a quick Google will find lots of lists of FF nutritional breakdowns. A lot of these are out of date or do not show all products/options, but they are helpful in finding what you want to avoid.

The only healthy items I can think of right now are lettuce salads without cheese/meat (but you still have to condsider what's in the dressing/croutons), or perhaps a banana at Sonic

I eat what I like to eat. If it isn't healthy.....I eat it anyway. There is always a drugstore somewhere with an antacid.
