I purchased my 2003 Mustang GT this past March from a friend's husband who was deploying, so I got a great deal on it. I love this car! I'd never driven anything besides 4-cylinders before...whew, let me tell you, the V8 is crazy fun and oh so helpful when you encounter stupid drivers and need to get out of the way quickly. I'm a good driver though, I don't do any stupid stuff like drifting or racing with it. I just enjoy having a lot of extra "pep" under the hood and the fact that it's a pretty car. I'd always wanted a Mustang and am really happy with it! It's got 108,000 miles on it, but still performs like a champ. My friends are already calling dibs on it for whenever I sell it in the future, lol.
Who else has a Mustang they love? Feel free to post pics and brag a little! Here's my baby!
Here's mine...its a 2004 Mustang GT and I bought it brand new. I have plenty of "pep" under the hood as well and go to the local drag strip to race every spring/fall. The car runs low 11's and in the winter I slap on Bridgestone Blizzaks + 100 lbs in the trunk and I'm good to go I drive the car all year round 5+ yrs later and she's still going strong without any problems! 57,000 miles on the counter
Bought new in 1998. Only change was giving it a 91 Octane tune which really improves the performance. Just 54,000 miles on the clock. I expect to get at least another 10 years happy motoring.
Time to get 3.73's in the rear end, a good intake, 75mm throttle body, a Borla exhaust setup and a good ecu tune. I'd go with sub chassis connectors, upgraded sways, shocks and lowering springs but a lot of muscle car heads don't upgrade suspension components.

He may not want to get the mod bug because its a slippery slope once you start lol
Own a 1994 GT myself. The most recent pics I have of it are about 4 years old though.
Great choice. For the price, they're the best cars on the road.
You'd be hard pressed to find any Mustang enthusiasts without some suspension mods.
I looked into getting a 2002 GT a few years back and I was piecing together a mod list because most of my experience was with imports and on the forums I went to almost no one recommended suspension components. I also see very few lowered Mustangs although the ones that I do see look very clean, it substantially improves the stance. I can't speak for all Mustang owners and I know there are some very well informed owners with a wealth of good information to share as well.
I can see going from 4 cylinders to a V8 yeah it gets addicting. Keep it up and next you'll be wanting something faster.
I'm guessing your car is just the run-of-the-mill 4.6? I know some of them had superchargers, but it may have been only the Cobras, but I'm not sure.
Also does your GT have a 5 speed or an automatic?
I don't have a Mustang anymore but years ago I had one...it was actually a Mercuri Capri but it was on the same platform as the Mustang...it had a very slow gutless 3.3 liter inline 6 and an automatic trans. It couldn't get out of it's own way.
