I have heard some negative things about Greeley, and I am now doubting applying to the University of Northern Colorado for Grad School. Is Greeley a good place to live on your own? I plan on buying a condo there if I do move, but now Im not so sure...

You must visit before making any decisions. This goes for any area because all the maps, statistics and overhead views using google earth and the like will not convey what your senses will immediately tell you. Trust your instincts and run with it... after looking at the stastics, maps and overhead views of course.

I have heard many great things about the nursing program. There was a forum member who made a post not to long ago. They had worked at the college and said there is a lot of problems between staff right now and that it is spilling over to the students. You do get a different perspective whenever you actually work somewhere so I am not sure how bad it is. Might be ok for someone who does not actually work there. Greeley is a higher crime community but there are many safe, good parts of the city to live in. I think it is a great school for the money. I would still visit the college and get a feel for yourself.
