We'll be in town this weekend as my husband is riding in the MS150 bike ride through Ft. Collins. I'll be there with my two boys (7 years and 8 months) and was wondering what some good things to do with my 7 year old might be during the day on Saturday while waiting on their dad & on Sunday before we leave?

Thanks for any tips.

There's City Park pool (an outdoor swimming pool with slides). The Discovery Center is a small science museum. Plus there are some kid-oriented stores in downtown (Nature's Own is the name of one of them - I can't remember the name of the other). Mini-golf at Fort Fun. There's also a kid-oriented entertainment center just south of town, but I can't remember the name of it.

Gardens on Spring and Lee Martinez Farm would be other choices. Are you thinking of Fort Fun, xeric?

Inspiration Playground at the west end of Horsetooth is awesome--my 6 year old spends several hours there at a time.

No, there is (or used to be) another place on south College. But I also realized after I posted that the OP had already come and gone (she was here two weekends ago). Sorry ebeth79!
