Help needed! We need to find a nice restaurant with really good food for our 10th anniversary dinner. Anyone have suggestions for Coral Springs area? Are we just not going to find it in west Broward. Is everything good east of US-1? We are tired of getting ripped-off by over-priced, bad food, in restaurants decorated with used diner furnture.

My husband & I always go to "The Melting Pot" in Coral Springs to celebrate our anniversary. If you have never been there, it's a fantastic experience in fondue eating. The deserts are scrumptious as well.

There is a Blue Moon fish company out in Coral springs. The address is 10317 Royal Palm Blvd. It is out west of university. Same company as the location in Lauderdale by the Sea. I have also had a few good meals at Gold Coast Grill in Coral Springs but I am not sure If they are still in business.

Aruba beach cafe is a fun place to go. The food is good a little pricey but fun times! Tons of seafood options as well as burgers steaks etc... It's in Lauderdale by the Sea next to the pier. Also Mango's on Las Olas is DELICIOUS!! Diverse menu with reasonable prices. Good luck and enjoy!

My favorite places:

East City Grill in Weston
Ireland's Steak House in Weston
Thai Spice in Fort Lauderale on Commercial Blvd
Aruba's on the beach - very end of Commercial Blvd
Georgia Pig BBQ - 441 and Davie Blvd
Anthony's Runway 84 in fort Lauderdale on SR84, east of I95 (Marina Mile)
Chima in Fort Lauderdale on Las Olas
Jack's Burgers on US1 in Fort Lauderdale, south of Commercial Blvd
Shorty's BBQ
Scruby's BBQ
Blue Moon Fish company
SunFish Gill in Pompano

Not in Ft Lauderdale:

Forge - Miami
Porcao - Miami downtown
Joe's Stone Crab - Miami, South Beach
Baleen - Miami, Grove Isle

Rachel's Steakhouse - West Palm Beach. Now this one has adult entertainment in it, but food and service are great!

Boston's on the beach - Delray Beach on A1A
