Can you give us some advice?
We will be moving from a South Caribbean island to this area soon and since schools for our grade 7 and grade 3 daughters are most important in our search for a living area: can anyone tell us where the best public schools are, what are magnet schools, how to get our kids in those schools?
Been reading a lot about Coral Springs, Parkland and Weston but I am afraid we need to be closer to Miami because driving to Miami airport area won't be easy...?
Thanks for any help!

Yes, it is widely regarded that these cities have the best public schools in south Florida with Parkland being the best. We have first hand knowledge from raising two gifted boys from kindergarten through high school in Parkland, and my wife teaches at the Parkland high school. I have commuted off peak hours to the Miami airport, about 55 minutes. So you may have to weigh that inconvenience versus living closer and paying for private schools.
