Hi there,
Are summer condo sales more competitive and often or are they rather limited during the warmer months?
Do most people avoid moving in summer because f the temperatures?

nah.........

The only glitch with summer moves is hurricanes. If you are in a "cone" of potential no insurance company will write a new policy so for most people/ no insurance = no sale.

How can this be? Millions of homes are in the cone, None of these will be sold?

Even of my down payment is 75% - 80% of the total home value?
My mortgage will be less than 100K
I have not ruled out the possibility of borrowing money from my 401K plan instead if we don't get a reduction in mortgage rate interests

Insurance companies won't write a policy if an active storm is putting the property "in the cone"

Delay the closing a week and reinspect the property for any damage then close. If you are paying cash, then no worries if you don't have insurance.
