We are looking to rent a furnished home in Weston for a short term lease (7 months) to allow time for our other house to sell. (We're not moving our furniture for various reasons). Our realtor took us around to 4 rental properties and I was wondering if anyone could please tell me a little about the San Mateo developement. We looked at a 4 bedroom townhouse that was very nice. The furniture was brand new, new carpets/paint, etc. I did notice though that the development was not gated and worried that this might be an issue as far as safety goes.

I think in Weston, generally speaking non-gated is OK, the whole town is quite safe.
At least I haven't seen any trouble reports from San Mateo on the police report (check the thread "So you think you live in a nice neighborhood" on the
www.NoTcrap.com forum)
